Widen literature by `apocathary is a perfect example of how writers could better showcase their art and a great idea. Wider boxes and bigger excerpts would be great for poetry and prose alike; tantalizing readers with a portion of the text is one of the best ways to draw them in.

Hah, wow, a DD! Thanks to =cairnthecrow for suggesting and ^2dazed for featuring. Heh, if I'd known it was going to get a DD I'd have cranked out PS rather than MSPaint
I fixed up the crappy extra white border which I'd totally forgotten about so it's a bit nicer to look at.

Just a small suggestion as per my journal, put together in a mock using MSPaint. Obviously for aesthetic value you'd also want to add a fade at the bottom of the text.
The point being that having a very small square with scrolling text doesn't quite go with the new layout options available to us. Even a text box double the width would allow for a more generous exposition of the lit on offer.
