that they came from under the bridge by the bay,
rose up and turned like a freight train down the street;
ignoring the stop sign completely, causing an early commuter
to lean into it, squinting. discoloured leaves
rushed to fill its absence, falling over each other,

it said the heavy mass of pure air hit with such momentum
as to shake it off deliberately, making it a helpless
and unwilling hitchhiker for some 20 metres.

The Library PlotMy master is a wizard of some repute; anyone could tell you that simply by observing his library. Even if you had never seen his face before, seen him strut about in his fancy embroidered robes and pointed wizard hat (which went out of style ages ago), you would know he was a wizard if you perused the books he has collected. His private library is a font of knowledge, a den of arcane secrets passed down through generations of sorcerers, savants, mystics and soothsayers. Here, scribed on papers bound in leather, cloth and dragonhide, are all the tricks of the trade my master plies.

And it is here, in his library, that I spend the majority of

Bob Cartman kept a tiger in a cage behind his house. He also had a big Rottweiler that lived on a ten-foot chain in the front of his property, and slept with a loaded shotgun propped against his bed. No one knew if he lived under a constant paranoia of being robbed or if it was the result of an overdose of the natural desire to display his machismo. No one bothered to ask.

The tiger was a massive male of the Siberian variety. In his ever-abundant creativity, Bob had dubbed him Stripes. The dog didn't fare much better. His name was Killer.

WingsBy four in the morning, City Airport was beginning to resemble a refugee camp. The would-be travellers had long ago run out of fuel for their anger and accusations, and now only a noise like a distant waterfall filled the skeleton rafters - the sound of hundreds of people breathing softly in sleep. They lay bundled in coats, huddled against soft cases, and draped over airport furniture. Some still had pouts and scowls etched into the lines of their face, but most slept placidly - like worn out dogs or the sort of babies that only exist in TV adverts - dreaming of postcard beaches and over-decorated cocktails.

A funeral was no place to have an epiphany. Epiphanies galvanise people into action and the only action you could get away with in a church pew was discreet fidgeting. Even that was considered unseemly when a heart-felt eulogy was being delivered by the deceased's mother, as Mary was finding out to her discomfort. The priest was beginning to shoot her dirty looks.

The Hole in the FenceEveryone knew about the hole in the fence.  You went to the back of the park, where the grass gave way to packed dirt, and followed the fence east until you found it.  You didn't even have to crawl on the ground -- you could just walk right through the space where the chain links had been torn away from the post.

As he relaxed his buttocks into the grooves in the park bench and took great, cheek-stuffing bites of his sandwich, he closed his eyes and considered himself completely at peace. Goodness! My message centre has rather asploded in the last 24 hours. A huge thank you to ^Beccalicious for the DD. I'm having a bit of a cruddy time at the moment--nothing major, just a lot of waiting for things to happen and the frustration that comes with it--so this made me grin like an idiot. This is for `WineWriter's Time Travel competition, I'm not entirely sure if it actually qualifies, since no-one travels in time. But we'll see!

I'm new to this script-writing gig (i.e. about twenty-minutes-ago new) so I'm looking for some feedback on the format, the flow, the props, that sort of thing. Whether I described the movements well, or if there's bits in our mind missing.

Oh, and any confusion about the actual premise of this would be great. I know it's a little hard to follow, so any comments on how easy it is to 'get' would be great!

Might I just say that I am in love with this to the point where I would perform it in my acting class should I ever have the chance? Hell, reminds me of my own everyday stress too. "I need this done by tomorrow, but I'm dead if I don't finish this today and I just wish I could have figured out time management much earlier." The subsections of time are weapons against human sanity sometimes.

I really don't have the proper compliment for this but this was worth reading from beginning to end; a great personification of Today, Tomorrow, and Time. I was wondering why you chose the names to be so similar until you reveal that they are just abbreviations. I might have to read it a few more times to get the actual message but I have no doubt that I'll enjoy every re-read.

I really don't know how to word a comment for this! Mainly since it's getting so much attention two and a half years later...though better late than never.

I feel very compelled to read more literature on dA now, thanks for that :] It can never be bad to read more!
Your play on words is fun and clever (Yes' men, my favorite). I'm glad that I mostly understood who each person was before the big reveal. And how easily I could relate to Tim's worries is a huge plus! Normally, I can't be bothered to understand more than I need to. But I know that Today can suck, and Tomorrow even more; especially for Time.

Oh, I'm glad I clicked this DD :] Very worth the read, and the recognition.
