Reposting this from my blog because I want to see more prose-monkey presence in our inbox. Poets of course, can continue to flood us as they always have.
"Soundzine, the literary e-journal whose prose section I co-edit, has released its ninth issue. I haven't really mentioned Soundzine here very often, mainly because I usually announce its release in other locations. If you have never visited us, Soundzine focuses on delivering quality poetry and prose in a way that a lot of other publications do not; read aloud by the authors, or by a team of voice performers when the author prefers. It's an often overlooked method of presentation, and one that I believe gives a unique way of receiving the text. Those who enjoy audio books know exactly what I'm talking about. It is as the author intended, with all the inflections and subtleties that might be lost in the conversion to html tags and unicode. We also provide (through the tireless efforts of Annie, our art director) artwork with each piece to offer yet another way to engage. Overall, I think we have a pretty slick production. Our web stats agree.
We have also announced our next theme for all and sundry to write to. The theme is 'Green' and the issue number is 10, a milestone for sure. From the start we haven't been getting a lot of prose submissions for me to look over, and from this issue onwards I would really like to change that. So please, tell your friends, tell yourself. The deadline is February 15th, 2010, so you have plenty of time to get something onto a page and into sound waves. If you've never had any experience creating a recording, we're happy to help you out with software and experience.
You can read the latest issue here.
You can read the submission guidelines here."

FFM2014 List
Sorry doodles, I'm out at the halfway point. Some paid writing came up, so I've had to focus on that for a week or so. It was certainly fun while it lasted though! Thanks for all the comments and encouragement. (:

Me Talk With Words
EDIT: Aaaaand I went and broke my shoulder. Great help on this writing thing.
Hey all,
So I'm probably going to be visiting here for a while because I kind of want to get back into this whole writing shtick, and what better way to kickstart it than to come back to the place that started it all. It's going to be interesting, mainly because for the last 6 months or so, I've been mainly creating with audio and video (also, if you're easily freaked out by someone whom you've only ever seen the chat text of suddenly talking [talking!], then maybe be warned?), which are different, more spontaneous beasts.
I don't know what it is about this drab
Hey
How's everyone?
Wordspill returns
Hey,
So I'm back to run Wordspill-Central (https://www.deviantart.com/wordspill-central) for a bit. There were quite a few notes in the old Wordspill (https://www.deviantart.com/wordspill) inbox asking for a return, so I felt like I should oblige them.
The return prompt is 'restart'. You know the drill, get spilling. (:
<3 y'all.
